Affiliate policy
Some links on this site are affiliate links. This page explains what that means and how we manage it.
What is an affiliate link
An affiliate link is a special link that lets a provider know a visit or sign-up came from Product Auditors. If you sign up for or purchase a product through one of these links, Product Auditors may earn a commission from the provider. In the vast majority of cases, this comes at no extra cost to you.
How we disclose affiliate links
Whenever a product audit, article or comparison includes affiliate
links, we disclose it visibly near the link or at the start of the content, and we technically mark those links as
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener noreferrer", as recommended by Google and the major affiliate networks.
How affiliation affects our reviews
Having an affiliate relationship with a provider does not determine the verdict of our audits. We publish each product's pros and limitations regardless of whether a commercial relationship exists. If a product has relevant limitations, we publish them anyway.
Active affiliate programs
We currently participate, among others, in the Amazon affiliate program (Amazon Associates), the Awin affiliate network, and direct affiliate programs with several of the products we review. The full list of products with an affiliate relationship can be found on each product's own page, where it is explicitly disclosed.
What we don't do
- We don't add affiliation to a product without disclosing it visibly.
- We don't swap editorial links for affiliate links without a real, documented relationship.
- We don't use cloaking techniques to hide that a link is commercial.
- We don't promise offers or discounts we can't verify at the time of publication.
